Jagdtiger metal edition with the BB Camo wooden box
The development of the Jagdtiger began after the troops asked for a heavy tank destroyer, which should be armed with a 12.8 cm cannon. The basis for this should be the Tiger II with its rear engine. With a total weight of approx. 70 tons, the Jagdtiger was the heaviest tank ever made in series worldwide. Due to its massive frontal armoring of up to 250mm, the Jagdtiger was reportedly never killed by enemy shelling during his service. However, with his 12.8cm KwK L / 55 cannon, he was able to penetrate a variety of enemy armor types up to 3000m in any angle.
The model has an aluminum gun barrel which can be raised / lowered and is supplied as an IR or 6mm BB version.
The model is powered by two 8500 rpm engines with improved torque, the power of which is directed to a metal gear and from there to the drive and idler wheels made of high-quality metal. In addition, all idlers are provided with torsion bar suspension, which ensures a scalelook when driving and easily eliminates bumps. Drive chains and lower hull of the Jagdtiger are made of metal to make the driving characteristics in the terrain as realistic as possible.
As a finish, metal etched parts are attached to the top trough of the Jagdtiger, additional accessories complete the model.
The Jagdtiger is delivered in a noble wooden box, in which the tank can be safely stowed for transport.
