The development of the Leopard 2 began with Krauss-Maffei in the 70s, as a replacement and successor to the successful Leopard 1 in the Bundeswehr. Over time, the production of the Leopard is steady improvement, and is also fast 40 years after its creation. In version 2A6, the revised 120mm L / 55 smoothbore gun from Rheinmetall is also used, which has once again increased the fighting power of the Leopard 2.
As a model of the Torro Pro Edition, the Leopard 2A6 features a metal underpanel with torsion bar suspension attached to the metal shaft. The upper tub can be opened with the well-known quick release, and provides quick access to the various RC components in the model. At the rear of the tub, the case is hidden, the charging socket of the external battery, the speaker, the switch for the smoke generator and the model. The leopard tower in the Pro Edition is partially made of metal and includes the shooter unit that is connected to the metal cannon barrel. The metal driving horn on the upper beam is movable and at the rear the parts are removed from the air cover of the optics. The finish of the leopard is rounded off by an impression-faithful camouflage finish in the airbrush process.
