The KV-2 (Russian КВ-2), named after the Minister of Defense at the time of the introduction of the KV series, Marshal Kliment Yefremovich Voroshilov, was a Soviet heavy tank that saw service in World War II, 1941–1942.
The KV-2 was developed on the KV-1 chassis when the Soviet General Staff required a tank with heavy armament to attack fortified positions and bunkers. To meet this requirement, the turret was greatly enlarged to accommodate a shortened 152mm artillery gun. The high silhouette of the vehicle now required increased armor on the turret in order to be able to withstand the expected heavy shelling. The combat weight of the KW-2 increased to 57 tons and its top speed fell below 30 km/h. The only Soviet variant of the KV-2 was the KV-2b, which was not based on the KV-1 chassis but on the chassis of the improved KV-1A.

The AMEWI Edition is a true-to-original replica on a scale of 1:16, delivered in a solid real wood box in the representative style of a natural-colored ammunition box. RTR - Ready To Run. The tank has a smoke and sound function as well as a lighting system for even more convincing worlds of experience. The shooting function is carried out by means of a push button, via which 6mm BB hard plastic projectiles can be fired up to 15m. The cannon can be moved up and down, all control functions are proportional and can therefore be controlled sensitively. In addition, the model has an infrared combat module, which allows duels with other tanks from this Amewi Edition. In the case of a direct hit by an enemy, the hit tank is visibly shaken once. The model is powered by two powerful motors, which transmit their power to the drive wheels via a multi-stage metal gearbox. The gearbox is also encapsulated (covered) on the inside. All wheels on the chassis are connected to the chassis with metal swingarms and are dampened. The entire running gear (wheels) and the chains are also made of metal. This faithful model with its olive green livery is in no way inferior to the real tank. All components are state-of-the-art (electronics TK 7.0). With a contemporary 7.4V Li-Ion battery with 1800mAh. A suitable 220V plug charger is of course included with the set. The model was checked for functionality before packaging and a function log is included. Supplied in a solid wooden box with a precisely fitting styrofoam core.
