RC Tank U.S. Abrams M1A2 Heng Long 1:16 Advanced Line BB (Amewi) The M1 Abrams has been a US battle tank since the 1980s. To date, over 9,000 units have been built in the US and Egypt. The conversion to the M1A2 model was intended to further increase the tank's armor protection, survivability, and maneuverability. The tank is powered by a powerful gas turbine. In recent years, this heavy battle tank has been used very successfully in the Gulf War, for example. Thanks to its good armor and powerful armament, the Abrams tank is a feared opponent in combat. The AMEWI Edition is a faithful replica in 1:16 scale as an RTR (Ready-to-Run) version. The model is equipped with a multi-stage metal gearbox for perfect power transmission from the two electric motors to the tracks. The tank also has a smoke and sound function, an IR combat module for exciting duels with other tanks from the Amewi series, and a 6mm BB firing system. This system fires 6mm hard plastic projectiles up to 15m. The model is controlled via a modern 2.4 GHz radio system with the latest TK 7.0 electronics – functions such as driving, shooting, smoke module, sound module (with interchangeable sounds), turret rotation, and cannon movement can be controlled sensitively and fully proportionally via the transmitter. The model is delivered in a high-quality real wood box. Each tank is tested for functionality and completeness before delivery. A checklist is included with the model.
